Great game deals are like the tide. Some weekends, when the tide is high, there are so many great game deals that we can’t possibly include them all in a single post. Other weekends, when the tide is low, the deals are few and far between. |

Ninjas can do a lot of cool stuff, but they're not necessarily in their element when it comes to naval battles. Hence, they might need some assistance when Ninja Raft hits iOS and Android later this year. It's tower defense with a wrinkle as the ninjas try to fight off pirates aboard a big freaking raft. How can that last sentence not at least want to make you read on? |

Cinderella’s never had it easy. Sure, there was that one time when a fairy godmother made her a princess and she lived happily ever after – but even “ever after” has to come to an end eventually. And if you think she had it bad before she met her prince, just wait until you learn about what happens next. |

The ninjas of Ninja Village aren't exactly what you'd expect of deadly assassins. In keeping with Kairosoft tradition, they're tiny, pixellated and actually kind of cute, and they spend most of their time bringing in crops, cutting wood and hanging out at the local tea house. They don't dress in black pajamas and hoods, although you can buy and equip them with hoods if you like, and they won't be scaling castle walls or disappearing in clouds of magical smoke. Mostly, they're just people living their lives in a small village. |

Do not get in-between a dragon and his treasure, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup. In fact, Dragon Season, an upcoming action game from Ghostbox, demonstrates that dragons will go to impressive lengths to retrieve their favored trinkets and shiny things—even going so far as to fly tirelessly for entire seasons. |

Narwhals are the Jedi of the sea, and they’re also pretty darn good at making sandwiches. Deep Sea Deli by PlayFirst is an iOS puzzle game that shows off the aquatic species’ lesser-known talent at assembling bacon, ham, and bread into something magically delicious. Like a solid BLT, Deep Sea Deli seems unimpressive at first taste, but after you take a couple of mouthfuls, you begin to enjoy how nicely all the ingredients come together. |

Usually dungeon crawling can be a pretty long-winded affair. I mean, first you have to get all of your equipment on, and then you have to inch your way through every dimly-lit cavern, making sure you always keep your eyes peeled for possible loot. In most cases, it’s likely you won’t make it home for dinner half the time, especially when a quest is particularly harrowing. That’s why I’m so excited about Dungeonism, a unique and bite-sized version of the age-old dungeon crawler, but with a lot of heart and plenty of quick strategic thinking. |

I was pretty intrigued by the concept of FREEQ when I first had a chance to preview the audio adventure game for Gamezebo last week, and I loved the emphasis that Psychic Bunny put on the mysteriousness of those old radio detective shows from the early twentieth century. But how does the ambitious radio frequency storytelling hold up now that I’ve had a chance to listen in on the future for myself? |

It must not be a very cold day in Hell today, because Spicy Horse Games has lifted the lid on their next sizzling title. The game in question has been revealed to be a collectable card game and real-time strategy hybrid that’s set in the throes of the Underworld, and has the working title of Hell Invaders. We here at Gamezebo felt especially obligated to bring you this good news today, for fear that Spicy Horse would follow through on their press release promise to track us down and force us to listen to them sing the full 7:30 version of Meat Loaf’s “I Would Do Anything for Love” should we fail to spread the word. |

Back in the early 80s, Steve Jackson created a four-part gamebook series entitled Sorcery! that took readers/players on an epic quest for a powerful artifact called the Crown of Kings. Now that tale of action and adventure is coming to the 21st century thanks to a team-up with developer inkle, which is recreating that four-part series as a gamebook for iOS devices. |
