We cover plenty of new games here at Gamezebo every week, but the number of games we’ve already covered that show up on new platforms? It’s staggering. This Wednesday and every Wednesday, Gamezebo is rounding up the games that aren’t quite new, but might be new to you depending on your platform of choice. And who doesn't love new(ish) games? |

In the beginning, there was a vast wasteland of interactive nothingness. And so Man created the video game. Man then got tired of playing space shooters and sword-wielding heroes, so he created the god game. One in-game, all-powerful planet spirit got tired of running everything, so he created the Reus: the eponymous Giant designed to do the bidding of the planet through manual labor and you, the player whose not-so-distant ancestor invented the video game. |

A long time ago (2003) in a galaxy far far away (their studio was in Edmonton), BioWare released what many consider to be the finest Star Wars experience to date: Knights of the Old Republic. If you haven’t played it, don’t worry – there’s a new hope on the horizon. |

In the future, man will return to the moon. He will build bases there, and colonies. He will claim it for his own. And, as sure as night follows day because that's just how humanity rolls, pretty soon some other jerk will do exactly the same thing: and the next thing you know, it's a fight. So goes the setup in Moon Rising, a game described as "in the mold of" classics like Advanced Wars and Laser Squad, but with a few interesting twists of its own. |

The iPhone has no shortage of games that have you flinging cartoony creatures at various targets with something approximating physics. If you imagine an Angry Birds where you navigate levels with multiple flings of your cute mascot, rather than aiming for a single stationary objective, you’ve got a pretty good handle on what Bombcats is like. Are we at our saturation point for using animals as projectiles, or will you want to spend all nine of your lives playing Bombcats? |

The first time I heard the title Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, I thought of some funny little sea critter with an awkward horn, who has to scour the ocean floor for shrimp and things to feed on. But boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong about that one. However, I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to be wrong in my entire life before, because what the game Oceanhorn actually turns out to be is nothing short of amazing. |

Following an endless wave of hype, rumors, pomp and circumstance, Microsoft unveiled the third generation of Xbox earlier today at their headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Though I suppose the location didn’t matter too much. Press and gamer alike, you could watch it from anywhere - whether streamed to your desktop or sent straight to your TV via your soon-to-be-last-gen Xbox 360. |

Throughout the course of gaming history, sequels have typically followed one of two conventions. Some are iterative, by building upon what came before it; a casual passerby might not be able to find much different between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, Sonic 1 and Sonic 2, or Mega Man and Mega Man 2 at a glance. |

Am I the only one who’s a little sick and tired of the term “dungeon crawler”? I mean, these dank and treasure-filled caves are just lurking with bats and spiders and other nasty creatures at every turn, so why not make a serious break for it as soon as you get inside? Get in and get out with that treasure is what I say! |

Have you ever left home for a long period of time, only to return years later and see everything in a completely different light? I know I have before, when I came home from college for the first time to find my room slowly being transformed into my Dad’s new home gym. Luckily, Gone Home looks to offer a much different experience about the coming and going, the ebb and flow of our home lives. |
